Mancos students visit D.C.

Twelve Mancos Middle school students had the opportunity last month to go to Washington, D.C. The students visited the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the National Zoo, the National Cathedral, Arlington Cemetery, the Smithsonian Institute and the American History Museum. Students also visited the Capitol building and White House and sat in on a Senate session.
