The Mancos volleyball team lost its season opener against Durango on Tuesday, three games to one.
The Blue Jays won the first game 25-22 to take an early lead, but Durango bounced back to win the next three games and take the match.
Games two and three were close, with Durango winning the second 25-19 and the third 27-25. But down two games to one, Mancos couldn't rally back in game four, losing 25-13.
The Blue Jays will next host Shiprock Northwest on Tuesday, September 8th at 4:00 p.m.
