Tuesday, Sept. 1

9:36 a.m. A woman reported that an ex-boyfriend offered to pay her $238 rent at Valley Sun Village if she would drop a restraining order. An arrest warrant was requested.

Wednesday, Sept. 2

4:30 p.m. Police observed a man urinating at City Park. He was arrested for disturbing the peace. A woman was also arrested for violating bond conditions.

Thursday, Sept. 3

6:24 a.m. Police responded to the Pinon Project for a man sleeping in a vehicle. After being awakened by authorities, a man walked away from the scene. About two hours later, police observed a woman sleeping inside the vehicle. She was arrested on an outstanding warrant and a drug investigation launched after authorities found syringes and a meth pipe inside the vehicle.

10:48 a.m. Police responded to RMOMS for theft. A Scram bracelet valued at $1,575 was reported stolen. Authorities requested a warrant for theft be issued.

12:10 p.m. Police responded to the 200 block of South Park Street for a disturbance. A convicted felon was found to be in possession of three firearms. The man was arrested and charged with possession of weapons by a previous offender. Two 12-guage shotguns and a M-1 .30-caliber rifle were seized.

5:55 p.m. Police observed three intoxicated pedestrians at City Park. One man was ticketed for open container and possession of alcohol in the park.

9:54 p.m. Police responded to Super 8 Motel for an intoxicated pedestrian. A man was arrested and charged with violating a no alcohol order.

10:13 p.m. Police responded to Days Inn for property damage. A man reported that his rear window was broken out.

Friday, Sept. 4

1:18 a.m. Police observed a vehicle parked on the wrong side of the road with the lights on along the 600 block of South Beech Street. As the driver left the scene, authorities said they notice the vehicle had a flat tire. The driver was arrested and charged with DUI and driving an unsafe vehicle. En route to the jail, the officer was stopped by a pedestrian to break up a fight at Once Upon a Sandwich.

2:37 a.m. Police arrested a woman near the intersection of East 7th and South Ash on an outstanding warrant. After authorities found less than a gram of methamphetamines and syringes inside her purse, the woman was also charged with drug possession and paraphernalia.

8:17 a.m. Police responded to the 1300 block of Mesa Verde Street for two dogs running at large. The owner was ticketed.

10:05 a.m. Police responded to Colorado West Trailer Court for a welfare check. A woman was asked to turn down her music. A neighbor reported the woman hit her child. Social Services were called. The woman denied hitting her child, citing her kids were at school. The woman reportedly mooned the neighbor. She was ticketed for disturbing the peace and issued a trespass notice. The child wasn’t injured.

7:16 p.m. Police observed a man drinking at City Park. He was ticketed for open container and possession of alcohol in the park. While on the scene, police observed two other people also drinking. A woman was ticketed for open container and possession of a alcohol, and a man was arrested for violating a no alcohol order.

10:37 p.m. Police observed a man drinking at City Park. He was ticketed for open container and possession of alcohol in the park.

Saturday, Sept. 5

12:55 a.m. Police responded to the 100 block of North Madison Street for a disturbance. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

1:23 a.m. Police asked a man to leave City Park. He was arrested and charged with loitering.

10:50 a.m. Police observed a man drinking at City Park. He was ticketed for open container and possession of alcohol in the park.

2:52 p.m. Police observed two pickup trucks racing at 70 mph down the 2200 block of East Main Street. One vehicle successfully eluded authorities after turning onto North State Street. A second driver was ticketed for engaging in a speed contest.

3:25 p.m. Police responded to B&B Storage for theft. Locks were reportedly cut off two units. No items were reported missing.

9:06 p.m. Police observed a man drinking at City Park. The man was ticketed for open container and possession of alcohol in the park.

11:33 p.m. A man reported that he was assaulted and his bicycle stolen outside of Blondie’s Trophy Room. The bicycle was valued at $750.

Monday, Sept. 7

9:12 a.m. Police responded to Wal-Mart for shoplifting. The suspect was apprehended in a nearby field. Store officials said he tried to exit the store with unpaid clothing valued at $32. The man was arrested and charged with shoplifting.

10:20 a.m. Police observed three people drinking at Centennial Park. All were ticketed for open container and possession of alcohol in the ark.

12:30 p.m. Police responded to the 800 block of North Edith Street for damaged property. A man reported that someone threw a rock shattering a window of a vacant residence. A sliding glass door was also damaged.

5:12 p.m. Police responded to the 800 block of South Cedar Street for vandalism. A woman reported that both sides of her vehicle were scratched. Repairs were estimated at $500.

5:19 p.m. Police responded to the 200 block of South Harrison Street for vandalism. A woman reported that her son destroyed a television, broke a Playstation 4 and damaged a wall. Total damages were estimated at $1,000. Authorities requested an arrest warrant for criminal mischief.

6:11 p.m. A man reported that he left his telephone in a Wal-Mart cart. The phone was valued at $600.

Tuesday, Sept. 8

2:25 p.m. Police responded to Dollar Tree for shoplifting. A woman attempted to steal batteries, makeup, hygiene items, USB cables, a sharpening stone, note pad, coin purse and men’s shorts. The items totaled $27. The drooling woman admitted to taking prescription pain pills. She was arrested and charged with shoplifting and issued a trespass notice.

Wednesday, Sept. 9

5:03 p.m. Police observed a person fall down next to two people sleeping in Centennial Park. All three subjects were ticketed for open container and possession of alcohol in the park.

7:23 p.m. Police responded to Cork & Bottle Liquor for a disturbance. A man reported that his mother poked him in the chest, shoved him and then slammed the hood of his van with her fist, denting the hood. Damages were estimated at $100. The woman was ticketed for criminal mischief and harassment.
