The Mancos Valley Historical Society Turkey Shoot is scheduled for 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, weather permitting.
To get to the event go 0.9 mile north on County Road 39 and follow the signs.
The shoot allows 12-gauge shotguns only, and shells will be provided. The cost is $10 per shot, with nine shooters per relay and one winner per relay. A free turkey goes to each relay winner.
Minors under 18 may shoot if accompanied by parent or guardian.
