The Montezuma County Historical Society invites readers to submit a favorite recipe or recipes for its “Great Sage Plain to Timberline Cook Book: Our Pioneer History.”

The society’s goal is to collect recipes from people in the area to complete a cookbook in honor of the many pioneer families. Please include a short paragraph of the origin of each recipe.

You may share your recipes to either Ann Brown at awbrown288@gmail.com or Halene West at 2labsrule@q.com. Recipes also may be mailed to Montezuma County Historical Society, P.O. Box 218, Cortez, CO 81321. The historical society hopes to have all recipes in hand by April 15.

For more information, call June Head at 970-565-3880.
