10:03 p.m.: A male was arrested in the 11200 block of U.S. 491 on suspicion of menacing after allegedly shining a handgun laser sight into a neighbor’s house.

Sunday, March 13

12:56 p.m.: A driver was pulled over for failing to display a front license plate, and her passenger was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

7:54 p.m.: A woman at Southwest Memorial Hospital reported that a dog bit her while she camped at Ancient Cedars RV Resort in Mancos but said she didn’t want to pursue charges.

7:54 p.m.: A woman received a ticket for driving 10-19 mph over the limit on County Road N.

Monday, March 14

1:13 p.m.: A man reported that his briefcase, valued at $200 and containing papers worth $215, had been stolen from his truck or residence in the 24400 block of County Road G.1

9:55 p.m.: A man found sleeping in a pickup truck in the 11200 block of U.S. 491 was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

10:30 p.m.: A man at Baymont Inn and Suites on E. Main St. reported that his ankle was bleeding and was treated at Southwest Memorial Hospital and arrested on an outstanding warrant.

12:04 p.m.: A man was arrested at Montezuma County Court on an outstanding warrant.

Wednesday, March 16

2:27 p.m.: A woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant at a residence in the 27500 block of County Road H.

Thursday, March 17

1:07 p.m.: A woman at a residence in Lakeside Trailer Park reported a possible attempted fraud involving an alleged American soldier whom she’d met on a dating website. A bank eventually warned the woman about scams coming from Nigeria, and she cut off the relationship and called deputies.

6 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault in the 24600 block of County Road L after allegedly choking and punching his mother.

Friday, March 18

6:25 a.m.: A driver was pulled over near U.S. 160 and Sligo St. because of a missing front license plate and was ticketed for driving with a suspended Arizona license.

12:45 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault after allegedly punching a man in his residence in the 33600 block of County Road F.5

Saturday, March 19

8:59 a.m.: A woman in the 16500 block of County Road 30.4 was ticketed for allowing a dog to run at large.

4:39 p.m.: A man reported that his car had caught fire in his garage in the 14000 block of County Road 21.3 after he’d started it and left it unattended.

Sunday, March 20

10 a.m.: A woman at a church in the 300 clock of E. Montezuma Ave. reported a possible phone fraud and was advised to cancel the check.

Thursday, March 24

10:11 a.m.: A man and woman at a residence in the 28300 block of County Road K.2 reported that a tenant had stolen a front porch, but after questioning, they faced an investigation for second-degree trespass after allegedly entering the residence without permission.

12:49 p.m.: A woman was pulled over for a missing front license plate in the 7000 block of U.S. 160 and her male passenger was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

7:47 p.m.: A deputy killed a wounded deer in the 27000 block of Colorado 184.

Friday, March 25

11:28 a.m.: A woman in the 32200 block of U.S. 160 reported a possible fraud involving the sale of her vehicle on Craig’s List.

9:14 p.m.: A driver was pulled over near County Road 31 and Railroad Ave. in Dolores and arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Saturday, March 26

12:30 a.m.: A deputy conducting a walk-through of the Ute Mountain Casino arrested a man on an outstanding warrant.

12:07 a.m.: A woman was ticketed for driving with a suspended license in the 5000 block of U.S. 160.

Sunday, March 27

1:03 a.m.: A man was ticketed in the 6000 block of U.S. 160 on suspicion of driving without a valid license and failing to present proof of insurance.

10:43 a.m.: A driver was ticketed in the 500 block of Main Ave. on suspicion of driving without a valid driver’s license.

7:04 p.m.: A passenger in a vehicle in the 14000 block of County Road G was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
