Mayor Sheek proclaims Rodeo Week in Cortez

Mayor Karen Sheek signs a proclamation declaring June 5-11 “Rodeo Week” in Cortez, as rodeo chairman Bentley Colbert and committee members look on. The 86th annual Ute Mountain Roundup Rodeo will be held June 9-11, with performances beginning at 7 p.m. each day. There are several other rodeo-related events throughout the week.
