FRIDAY, MAY 20

Ÿ Louis M. Edwards, 62, of Dolores, pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct-unreasonable, and received a deferred sentence of 12 months-unsupervised. He was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs, and must violate no laws, traffic or criminal, and keep his address current with the court.

Ÿ Cheryl L. Soderberg, 56, of Dolores, was issued a summons in regards to a complaint of harassment-telephone/threat and received a deferred sentence of 6 months-unsupervised. She was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs, and must complete 10 hours of community service by Aug. 31. She must violate no laws, traffic or criminal, and keep her address current with the court.

TUESDAY, MAY 24

Ÿ Cameron Jay Smith, 19, of Dolores, pleaded guilty to one count of driving while ability impaired and received a sentence of 30 days in jail-deferred. He received 12 months of probation and was ordered to pay $1,315 in fines and costs. He must perform 24 hours of community service by Nov. 24, must attend victim impact panel and Alive At 25, and level two education and 42 hours of therapy, track A, including outpatient therapy. He must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol, and follow all standard conditions of probation, including no alcohol or drug use.

Ÿ Jerry Jumbo, 40, of Gallup, N.M., pleaded guilty to one count of protection order violation-civil and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 38 days credit for time served. He was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs.

Ÿ Waylon Cheyney Whiteman, 27, of Cortez, was found guilty of false reporting-false identification and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 29 days credit for time served. He was ordered to pay $214.50 in fines and costs.

Ÿ Ronny D. Butt, 41, of Dolores, was found guilty of one count of harassment-strike/shove/kick. He was sentenced to 18 months probation-supervised, and was ordered to pay $1,187.50 in fines and costs. He must complete a domestic violence evaluation and treatment, and must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol. He was ordered not to operate a motor vehicle without proper vehicle registration and insurance coverage, and not to contract any financial obligations without approval of his probation officer and/or collection investigator.

Ÿ Carl D. Hamlin, 38, of Towaoc, pleaded guilty to protection order violation. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail and was ordered to pay $209.50 in fines and costs.
