The annual Made in Montezuma Fall Festival will take place from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Trail Canyon Ranch in McElmo Canyon.
The festival, sponsored by Southwest Memorial Hospital Foundation, includes the Epiclectics folk band, guided tours of the 7,000-tree nursery, hikes to Trail Canyon waterfall, Guy Drew wine, Dolores River Brewery beer, Colorado cider, a menu of locally sourced food and a live auction of Montezuma art, products, services and getaway trips with auctioneer Larry Don Suckla.
The festival will end with a bonfire, under the hunter’s moon.
Made in Montezuma benefits the Foundation’s scholarship program, a major financial resource for those pursuing a career in health care. An average of five $2,000 scholarships are awarded annually to residents of Montezuma and Dolores counties.
Tickets are $40 per person and $75 per couple and may be purchased at the gate. For more information, visit www.swhealth.org/foundation, or call Susan Thomas at 970-739-3158.
