The second annual Ride of the Ancients Century Cycling Tour, departing Parque de Vida in Cortez at 8 a.m. The 100-mile route loops east toward Totten Lake, south through McElmo Canyon, past Hovenweep National Monument to Road 10, and south to Cortez on U.S. 491. The sixth annual Pretty in Pink Fashion Show, at Four Seasons Greenhouse and Nursery, at 26650 CR P. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets required. Montezuma County Historical Society is collecting recipes for a cookbook, honoring the pioneer ancestors of Montezuma County and needs old and new recipes for publication around Thanksgiving.
