The Osprey Packs local sale starts this Friday at 7 a.m., and company representative Sam Mix says get there early.
“There’s always a line outside, and it’s first-come, first-serve,” he said.
This year, the sale will be held at Osprey headquarters, 115 Progress Circle in the Cortez industrial park. Doors open at 7 a.m., an hour earlier than previous years, and will run until noon while supplies last.
A wide variety of Osprey products will be for sale at the event, from travel and hydration packs to child carriers, Mix said. The inventory available will be mostly new products from the company’s spring and fall 2016 collections, he said.
Five percent of all proceeds from the sale will be split between two nonprofit organizations: Southwest Colorado Cycling Association and the Four Corners Child Advocacy Center.
“There’s a huge amount of inventory this year,” Mix said.
