The Mancos Valley Chamber of Commerce is looking for nominations for its annual Citizen of The Year contest.
Dec. 1 is the deadline for nominations, and the winner will be announced in February at the chamber’s annual social.
Nomination forms can be found at www.mancosvalley.com/forms. They can be dropped off at the Mancos Visitor’s Center or mailed to Mancos Valley Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 494, Mancos, CO, 81328
People are encouraged to nominate anyone who works or lives in the Mancos Valley that has made the area a better place to live and has been a positive role model in the community. Neighbors, teachers, grocery store clerks, firemen, students, nurses, hairdressers, waitresses, aunts or uncles may be nominated. Nominees can be any age and can be an organization or an individual.
