Wednesday, March 8

10:20 a.m.: A man reported the theft of a gate on his property in the 11000 block of County Road 18. The case remains under investigation.

12:15 p.m.: A woman was served with a warrant for robbery at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

6:30 p.m.: A woman reported that her son had been assaulted on the school bus in the 27000 block of County Road P. Another student had allegedly taken his cell phone and pushed him into a window and a metal brace, resulting in bruises. The responding deputy advised the mother to report the incident to her son’s school resource officer and to apply for a protection order.

Thursday, March 9

9:44 a.m.: A woman was arrested at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road, on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense.

Friday, March 10

11:32 a.m.: A man was served with a warrant for failure to comply at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

6:34 p.m.: A woman was arrested in the 18000 block of Colorado Highway 145 on a warrant for failure to comply. She was also charged with violation of a protection order and bond conditions, as well as introduction of contraband, after a bag of methamphetamine was found in one of her shoes.

Saturday, March 11

6:45 p.m.: A woman reported a case of possible fraud in the 14000 block of County Road 33. She said she had attempted to buy a bulldog from a man online, but after she sent him a $500 payment, she was contacted by a company that said she owed $875 for shipping, and she had not received the dog. The case remains under investigation.

Sunday, March 12

11:50 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 23000 block of County Road N.4 on suspicion of third-degree assault, harassment and domestic violence after his wife and stepson reported he had hit and pushed them several times and thrown things around the house.

Monday, March 13

11:30 a.m.: A woman reported that a neighbor’s dog had killed one of her hens, valued at about $50, in the 200 block of Central Avenue, Dolores. The neighbor, who had recently adopted a female black lab that fit the description of the offending dog, received a summons for dog running at large and nuisance violations.

4:10 p.m.: A woman was served with a warrant for contempt of court and failure to comply at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
