TUESDAY, JUNE 21

Ÿ Justine Marchese, 19, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of driving while ability impaired. This was the defendant’s first DUI conviction. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail with a suspended imposition, and to 12 months supervised probation. She was ordered to pay $561.50 in fines and costs, and must perform 24 hours of community service by May 1, 2012. The defendant must attend victim impact panel and Alive at 25, and level two education and 42 hours of therapy, Track A. She must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol. All standard conditions of probation apply, including no alcohol or illegal drug use. She must report to private probation as of this date and must obtain a mental health evaluation.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 22

Ÿ Jackson Dean Bryan, 23, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, and received a deferred sentence of 12 months unsupervised probation. He was ordered to perform 24 hours of community service to be completed by Dec. 22, and was ordered to pay $35 in fines and costs. Additionally, he must violate no laws, traffic or criminal, and keep his address current with the court.

Ÿ Lakota L. Rabbit, 24, of Towaoc, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, and was ordered to pay $131.50 in fines and costs.

Ÿ Brittany M. Kimmel, 18, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of underage possession of alcohol, and received a deferred sentence. She was ordered to pay $53.50 in fines and costs, and must perform 24 hours of community service, to be completed within six months and by Dec. 22. She must obtain an alcohol evaluation and follow all recommendations of same. Additionally, she must violate no laws, traffic or criminal, and keep her address current with the court.

Ÿ Denton D. Higgins, 48, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, and was ordered to pay $128.50 in fines and costs.

Ÿ Shavanna M. George, 20, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, received a deferred sentence of 12 months probation, and was ordered to pay $46.50 in fines and costs. Additionally, he must violate no laws, traffic or criminal, and keep his address current with the court.

Ÿ Devin M. Lenahan, 18, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of underage possession/consumption of alcohol, and received a sentence of 12 months probation-deferred. He was ordered to pay $53.50 in fines and costs, and must perform 24 hours of community service by Dec. 22. He was ordered to obtain an alcohol evaluation and follow all recommendations as a condition of his sentence or an additional deferred fine of $250 will be entered against him. He must provide proof of completion of evaluation. He must violate no laws, traffic or criminal, and must keep his address current with the court.

Ÿ Jonathan T. Meador, 19, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of underage possession/consumption of alcohol, and received a sentence of 12 months probation. He was ordered to pay $53.50 in fines and costs, and must perform 24 hours of community service. He was ordered to obtain and undergo an alcohol evaluation within 24 hours and follow all recommendations. An additional deferred fine of $250 will be entered against him if he does not complete evaluation. He must provide proof of completion of evaluation within 12 months. Additionally, he must violate no laws, traffic or criminal, and must keep his address current with the court.
