An area student has been named to the deans list at Colorado School of Mines in Golden for the second semester of 2010-2011. Jennifer Allen, a 2010 graduate and salutatorian of Mancos High School, was notified June 16 of this achievement. Jennifer is majoring in physics, and also plans to pursue a masters degree. Her proud family includes parents, Mark and Jeanette Allen of Cortez; and grandparents, Bob and Judy Allen of Illinois, and Richard and Romelle Durand of Arizona.
