Dear Editor:

The conservative community lost a potent voice with the death of Roger Hazlewood. Roger knew and believed in the Constitution of the United States. His letters to the Cortez Journal stressed individual freedom and small government. He knew what he believed and kept his values. He really believed in the Second Amendment. His shoes will be hard to fill.
