It was a 12 team, 72 game summer horseshoe season that lasted 12 weeks for the local Rocky Mountain Ringers.
The last games were played on Aug. 18, at the local American Legion, the host site for all the horseshoe games.
The first-place team of Mike and Robin Carver, and Sandi Rogers posted a record of 46-26. Jim and Mindy Rosenbaugh, and Debbie Kennell came in second with a record of 41.5-30.5. The third-place team of Sol Gauthier, Betty Goodall and Cora Monarco posted a mark of 41-31.
