The Mancos Conservation District’s annual meeting of landowners and pancake breakfast is scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at the Mancos Community Center, 130 Grand Ave.

Trout Unlimited’s Cary Denison will give a presentation on the Gunnison Basin Project and how the methods apply to conservation efforts in Mancos. CSU’s Colorado Climate Center’s Zach Schwalbe will talk about on the Mancos weather station and how its data benefits agricultural practices in the Valley.
Montezuma School to Farm Project will honor the Mancos School Garden champion and announce a new director.
Landowners will vote on district by-laws.
Participants may enter a drawing for a $100 gift certificate, donated by Cruzan Irrigation.
