Leave party politics out of school board

Dear Editor:



When I was invited to the Republican Women’s luncheon, I expected to see all of the school board candidates. I was never informed that this was only for Republican candidates.

I strongly feel that party politics should be left out of school boards. The education of our students is the only thing that should be in consideration when electing our school board.

If there are other forums prior to election, I anticipate seeing all of the candidates present.
