Ray Glenn Cox, 44, of Dolores, pleaded guilty to one count of harassment strike/shove/kick. He received a deferred sentence of 12 months unsupervised probation, and was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs. He must violate no laws traffic or criminal, and must keep his address current with the court.
Jessica V. Atencio, 20, of Cortez, was found guilty of one count of not using a seat belt, one count of child restraint not used, one count of failure to yield right of way at a stop sign, and one count of signaling violation. She was ordered to pay $328.50 in fines and costs.
Gilberto T. Olivas, 45, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of third degree assault knowingly/recklessly causing injury. He received an updated sentence of 24 months supervised probation, to report on this date. He was ordered to pay $1,436 in fines and costs, and must obtain a domestic violence evaluation and follow all recommendations. He must also obtain a mental health evaluation and follow all recommendations. He was ordered to violate no laws traffic or criminal, and must keep his address current with the court.
TUESDAY, OCT. 11
Harry Lee Bylilly, 39, of Towaoc, pleaded guilty to violation of bail bond conditions, and was sentenced to 180 days in jail. He was also ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs.
Roldan Wilfredo Armenta, 56, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of driving while ability impaired. This is the defendants fourth DUI conviction. He was sentenced to 150 days in jail with 14 days credit for time served. He was also sentenced to an additional 365 days in jail with suspended imposition as longs as all terms of probation are followed. He received a sentence of 36 months supervised probation, and must comply with all standard conditions of same. He was ordered to pay $1,328.50 in fines and costs, and must perform 120 hours of useful public service by Sept. 11, 2013. He must attend victim impact panel, Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving if available, Level II education and 86 hours of therapy Track D, and engage in treatment within 15 days of jail release. He must attend enhanced outpatient therapy and inpatient therapy if he cannot maintain his sobriety. He must obtain a mental health evaluation and follow all recommendations, and must submit to random tests for drug and alcohol use. All standard conditions of probation apply, including no alcohol or illegal drug use.
WEDNESDAY, OCT. 12
Danny L. Whatley, 41, of Las Vegas, Nev., pleaded guilty to one count of possession of marijuana under 2 ounces. He was ordered to pay $426 in fines and costs.
Tawni L. Glenn, 18, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of underage possession of alcohol, and was ordered to pay $236 in fines and costs. As defendant has already obtained an alcohol evaluation, she is ordered to continue to follow recommendations of the evaluation, and to write a 10-page research paper on the effects of alcohol on minors. An additional $500 fine will be suspended if the defendant completes the research paper. No useful public service has been assigned in lieu of research paper.
Kerry David Miller, of Mancos, pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct offensive gesture. He was ordered to pay $78.50 in fines and costs.
Michael D. Valleeos, 18, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to two counts of driver under 18 passenger not wearing seat belt, and one count of failure to display proof of insurance. He received a deferred sentence of 12 months unsupervised probation, and was ordered to pay $295.50 in fines and costs. He must complete 24 hours of community service by Oct. 12, 2012. Defendant has completed Alive at 25, and court will give him credit. He was ordered to violate no laws traffic or criminal, and to keep his address current with the court. He must also obtain and maintain proof of insurance to the court for 12 months.
Harley Paul Davis, 21, of Mancos, pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct fighting in public. He was ordered to pay $284.50 in fines and costs.

Trevor X. Johnson, 18, of Montezuma Creek, pleaded guilty to one count of resisting arrest. He received a deferred sentence of 12 months unsupervised probation, and was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs. He was ordered to complete 48 hours of community service by Oct. 12, 2012. He must obtain an alcohol evaluation and follow all recommendations, and provide proof to the court of completion, with evaluation. Defendant must violate no laws traffic or criminal, and must keep his address current with the court.
Brian Keith Duncan, 36, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of marijuana under 2 ounces. He was ordered to pay $426 in fines and costs.
Amanda May Heiney, 33, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of marijuana under 2 ounces, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was ordered to pay $526 in fines and costs.
