Matthew Nofel is shown unloading numerous cases of donated ramen noodles on Saturday, Nov. 19, during the annual “Stuff the Bus” campaign.
Folks who donated their time to help unload the food items from the bus are shown: standing, from left, Elder Jensen, Elder Baugh, Kim Nofel, Orlando, Michelle, Jackson, Brandon (Re-1 school bus driver), Cindy Stuckman, and Pastor Steve Nofel; and, seated, Matthew Nofel, Kelly Turner, Chuckie Nofel, Sister Wise and Sister Patrick. Last names are unavailable for some of those pictured. Thanks go to these good samaritans who contributed their time and muscle to the worthwhile cause of helping the Good Samaritan Center with its mission to feed the hungry and homeless.

The Good Samaritan Center wishes to tell our dear, giving community: You have done it again! Thank you so much for Stuff the Bus foods to help our near empty shelves with a little over 3,000 pounds of food, plus $80 in checks or cash! With the economic strife, I really didn’t expect such a huge outpouring ... thank you.

Also, thank you to all who helped unstuff the bus: Kelly Turner, Brandon the bus driver, The Nofel family — Steve, Kim, Chuckie and Matthew, Elder Jensen, Elder Baugh, Sister Wise, Sister Patrick, Cindy Stuckman, Orlando, Michelle, and Jackson.

We greatly appreciate the sponsors: American General Media, which includes 740 KVFC news talk, 98.7 KRTZ today’s hits and yesterday’s favorites, 97.9 KISS country, City Market, Hall’s Furniture and Softubs, and Town and Country Furnishings!

We have been getting 20 to 24 new clients in need a month. They are embarrassed to ask for help. We serve about 175 cases each month now. We couldn’t do it without each of you and your generosity. May God supply all your needs in accordance with His riches and glory.

God bless you at Thanksgiving and always, In Jesus’ name, Cindy Irvin, director.
