Orion and Neptune are sweet-natured, 5-year-old brothers who love to spend time cuddling together. Neptune is mellow, big and beefy, and white with very distinctive orange markings. Orion is smaller, more streamlined, and orange tortoiseshell-patterned with white markings. They are both neutered and declawed, so they will need to be indoor cats. Hopefully, they can be adopted as a pair, since they have never been apart. Please make these boys’ day by giving them a forever home. They are available for adoption at the Cortez Animal Shelter, located at 2791 E. Main St. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and open every other Friday. The shelter will be open this Friday. This week, the shelter needs adult dry dog food (Purina, Pedigree, or Iams), Iams kitten food, paper towels, dish soap and other cleaning supplies. For more information, call the shelter at 565-4910. To view more animals, visit www.petfinder.com (enter 81321 zip code) or http://www.cityofcortez.com/government/animal_shelter.
