The face of a puma, but the heart of a marshmallow. This sweetie is big and brawny, but incredibly loving and affectionate. This adult neutered male was found stray; he’s very gentle and absolutely loves attention. He’s also de-clawed, which means he will need to go to an indoor-only home since he has no natural defenses. He’s white with buff and cream-colored spots, big pink ears, and silvery-blue eyes. His long face and striking features are irresistible, and his personality — even more so.Please consider opening your home to this super-huggable kitty, or one of many other deserving dogs, puppies, kittens, and cats — including a beautiful longhair Siamese, a shorthair Himalayan, and some loving little calicos — and give one of them a chance for a happy life. The shelter is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on alternate Fridays; they will be open next Friday. The shelter will be open this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for their Doggy (and Human) Day Spa fundraiser. For a donation, your hound can have a bath, a brush, nail trim, and ear cleaning — while the lucky owner gets their very own 20-minute table massage. Please call the shelter at 565-4910 to reserve your time slot. It’s a great deal, a great time, and a chance to help raise funds for the homeless pets at the shelter. For more information about adoption, call the shelter at 565-4910. To view more animals, visit www.petfinder.com (enter 81321 zip code) or http://www.cityofcortez.com/government/animal_shelter.
