Big baby blues are one of the attributes of this beautiful six-year old spayed girl. “Pussoms” is a gorgeous seal point Birman. She’s got silky long buff-colored fur with dark brown markings and white paws. Her beautiful (and somewhat crossed) eyes are a deep cobalt-blue. She’s got a mellow and friendly personality. She loves people attention, or just lying in the window and looking outside. She needs (and loves) occasional brushing, and will need to be an indoor-only cat. She is affectionate and would love to just hang out on the couch with a new owner in a forever home. Please consider opening your abode to this regal girl, or one of the other deserving animals, and give one of them a chance for a happy life. The shelter is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on alternate Fridays; they will be open this Friday. Right now, the shelter needs Iams puppy or kitten chow, Purina or Pedigree adult dog food, Iams or Purina cat food, non-clumping cat litter, and all sorts of dog chews or rawhides. The shelter always needs dish soap and dishwasher detergent (powder). It may be time to welcome home the new — and possibly furry — love of your life. For more information, call the shelter at 565-4910. To view more animals, visit www.petfinder.com (enter 81321 zip code) or http://www.cityofcortez.com/government/animal_shelter.
