MONDAY, MARCH 5

Ÿ Tim Paul McDowell, 48, of Dolores, pleaded guilty to one count of criminal mischief — under $500 and received a deferred sentence of 12 months unsupervised probation. He was also ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs, and must violate no laws — traffic or criminal, and keep his address current with the court. Defendant was ordered to obtain an anger management evaluation and follow all recommendations, and must provide proof to the court of completion of the anger management evaluation.

TUESDAY, MARCH 6

Ÿ Peyton Thomas Lawrie, 19, of Dolores, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, and one count of driving while ability impaired. He received a deferred sentence on the second count and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with suspended imposition, and 12 months of unsupervised probation. He was ordered to pay $683.50 in fines and costs, and to perform 24 hours of community service by Feb. 6, 2013. He must violate no laws — traffic or criminal, and must keep his address current with the court. Defendant was ordered to complete victim impact panel, Alive at 25, and Level II education, and provide proof of completion of all three to the court. He must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and follow all recommendations, and must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol use. He may not have alcohol or any illegal substances.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7

Ÿ Heather Dawn Nowlin, 32, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of driving while ability impaired. This is defendant’s second DWAI. She was sentenced to 365 days in jail with suspended imposition, and to 24 months of supervised probation. She was ordered to serve 20 days under electronic home monitoring beginning on Mar. 23, 2012 at 8 a.m. with no credit for time served, for a total of 20 days at this time, with an additional 365 days suspended imposition as a condition of completing probation successfully. Work release is authorized. She was ordered to pay $1,407.50 in fines and costs, and must perform 60 hours of community service by Feb. 7, 2013. Defendant was ordered to complete victim impact panel, Level II education, 68 hours of therapy — Track C, and enhanced outpatient therapy. She must submit to random tests for drug and alcohol use. All standard conditions of probation apply, including no alcohol or illegal drug use. Defendant was ordered to follow all conditions of probation.

Ÿ Juanita Marie Faddis, 35, of Hesperus, pleaded guilty to one count of defrauding an innkeeper — $1,000 or less. She received five days credit for time served and was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs.
