Lakeside Lanes bowling leagues are entering the home stretch of the winter season, and the scores are heating up.
The Twilighters Mixed League has two weeks of scores. For the week of Feb. 22, The Plumbing Store had a nice high handicap game of 906 and Vectra Bank had a hcp series of 2,516. Ben Crites rolled his lifetime personal best series of 256, 279 and 259 for a 794 total, taking high scratch/hcp scores for the men. Melissa Zufelt rolled a high hcp series of 638, while Arlene Curtis had a stellar performance with a 237, 252 and 589 (scratch/hcp game/scratch series).
Other scores are for leagues for the week of Feb. 29, through March 8.
The Coffee League posted team highs for Angels End Zone with 636/1,806 (hcp game/series). Debbie ODonnell had the high hcp game (236) and Lindy Rucker posted 213, 603 and 642 (high scratch game/series/hcp series).
Powder Puff on Monday nights reports team highs went to Citizens State Bank (824-hcp game) and Lotsa Pasta (2,376-high hcp series). Individual highs were Rucker (203-scratch game), Curtis (573- scratch series), Kate Shethar (243-hcp game) and Terri Whiteman (633-hcp series).
The Tuesday Afternoon Ladies League reports team high scores with MDC taking the high hcp game (713) and Mesa Verde Motel with an 1,892 high hcp series. Individual top scores went to Naida Taylor (224/276-scratch/hcp game) and Michelle Lee (554/686-scratch/hcp series).
The Petroleum Mens League posts Brus House of Color (1,071/3,120 team high hcp game/series). Bill Bedker (705-hcp series) and Jake Franks (258/269/644-scratch/hcp game/scratch series) had the weeks high scores.
The Oddballs Mixed League reports Lazy D & R Ranches taking team highs of 899/2,549 (hcp game/series). Shannon Whiteman had the high hcp game (268) and Dennis Wojciechowski scored 226/639/687 for the high scratch game/series, hcp series for the men. Freida Calloway took the womens high scores with 197/246/512/659 for scratch/hcp game, scratch/hcp series.
