MONDAY, MARCH 12

Ÿ Charles Redhouse, 33, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to two counts of driving while ability impaired. This is defendant’s second alcohol-related driving conviction. He was sentenced to serve 365 days in jail with suspended imposition. He was ordered to serve 10 days in jail, with 5 days credit for time served. He received an updated sentence of 24 months of supervised state probation. He was ordered to pay $2,231.50 in fines and costs. Defendant was ordered to attend victim impact panel, Level II education and 68 hours of therapy — Track C. He was ordered to engage in treatment within 15 days of sentencing or jail release. He must attend the Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving program, and must submit to random tests for alcohol or drug use. The 10 days in jail are ordered with 5 days credit for time served, with an additional 365 days ordered as a condition of completing probation successfully. Defendant was also ordered to perform 48 hours of community service by March 12, 2013. All standard conditions of probation apply, including no alcohol or illegal drug use. Defendant must follow all conditions of probation.

Ÿ Charles Redhouse, 33, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of third degree assault — knowingly/recklessly causing injury. He was sentenced to serve 10 days in jail and 24 months supervised state probation concurrent with case number 11M548. Defendant shall not contract any financial obligations without approval of his probation officer and/or collections investigator. Defendant must regularly attend, participate in, and successfully complete a domestic violence evaluation and treatment, providing proof of completion to the court. He must also complete a 3-page paper regarding the effects of domestic violence on children, and must submit this to the court within 6 months of sentencing, and present it to his probation officer. A trauma assessment for the defendant’s son is to be conducted through The Nest Child Advocacy Center.

TUESDAY, MARCH 13

Ÿ Armondo J. McCook, 22, of Towaoc, pleaded guilty to one count of third degree assault — knowingly/recklessly causing injury. He was ordered to pay $228 in fines and costs.

Ÿ Renwick W. Jacket, 54, of Towaoc, pleaded guilty to one count of speeding 25 to 39 miles over the speed limit, and to one count of driving without a driver’s license. He was ordered to pay $884.50 in fines and costs, and to perform 60 hours of community service by Sept. 13, 2012.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14

Ÿ Schuylar S. Power, 18, of Mancos, pleaded guilty to one count of underage possession/consumption of alcohol. She received a deferred sentence of 12 months unsupervised probation. She was ordered to pay $56 in fines and costs, and must violate no laws — traffic or criminal, and must keep her address current with the court. She must obtain an alcohol evaluation and follow all recommendations, and must provide proof to the court. Defendant was also ordered to perform 24 hours of community service by Feb. 14, 2013.

Ÿ Thomas Lee Palmer, 42, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of marijuana — under 2 ounces, and to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to pay $531 in fines and costs.

Ÿ Tyrell Begay, 27, of Mancos, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to pay $126 in fines and costs.

THURSDAY, MARCH 15

Ÿ Kenna Marie Archuleta, 19, of Mancos, pleaded guilty to one count of underage possession/consumption of alcohol. She received a deferred sentence of 12 months unsupervised probation. She was ordered to pay $56 in fines and costs, must violate no laws — traffic or criminal, and must keep her address current with the court. She is required to obtain an alcohol evaluation and follow all recommendations, and to provide proof to the court. Defendant was also ordered to perform 24 hours of community service by Feb. 14, 2013. An additional $250 misdemeanor fine is suspended as a condition of deferred sentence.
