Hey! What’s a nice guy like me doing in a place like this? Rex is a very friendly and loving boy with a terrific personality. This 2-year-old neutered male is lanky and long-legged. A brown and white Tabby, he has a long, noble, very Egyptian-looking face and beautiful amber eyes. This curious and super-gregarious fellow has a very distinctive black heart-shaped mark at the tip of his nose. Come in and meet him — this affectionate, lovable cat is hard to stop petting. He’ll make someone a great pet. Please consider bringing Rex into your life, or any of the other deserving animals that have found themselves at the shelter, and give one a chance for a happy life. The shelter is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on alternate Fridays. They will be open this Friday. Right now, the shelter desperately needs puppy chow and rawhide chews to keep their dogs occupied. They also need paper towels, Dawn liquid dish soap, powder-type dishwasher soap, and scented (lavender, spring fresh, etc.) generic bleach. For more information, call the shelter at 565-4910.
