Mesa Verde National Park is inviting people everywhere to enjoy free admission to the park during National Park Week, through April 29.
This years theme is Picture Yourself in a Park, according to a written statement from the park. The National Park Service and the National Park Foundation, the official charity of Americas national parks, join together each year to celebrate this special week and entrance fees are waived to all park service units that charge an entrance fee.
Additional fee free days for 2012 for National Park Service units are: June 9, Get Outdoors Day; Sept. 29, National Public Lands Day;Nov. 10-12. Veterans Day weekend.
