12:37 a.m.: Deputies responded to a report of harassment in the 22000 block of County Road 23. A man claimed a wildlife officer had harassed him repeatedly by driving down his road and slowing down in front of his house, and most recently by blocking his vehicle and confronting him. He also said he believed the officer had cut his fence and let his animals out. When contacted by deputies, the officer said he had slowed down and confronted the man on the road that day because he believed he had been following him. Deputies took no action due to a lack of evidence.
Monday, Nov. 20
10:39 a.m.: A man was arrested at the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, 730 E. Driscoll St., on two warrants for failure to appear.
4:16 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of a break-in in the 25000 block of County Road P. A woman claimed one of the windows in the back door had been broken between 10 a.m. and 3:40 p.m., causing about $20 in damage. Nothing inside the house was reported stolen. The case remains under investigation.
4:37 p.m.: A man was remanded into custody from Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.
Tuesday, Nov. 21
7:18 a.m.: Deputies secured the Dolores Tavern, 1319 Railroad Ave., Dolores, after they reportedly observed that all the lights were on, the doors were unlocked and alcohol and food had been left out throughout the building even though no one was inside. There were reportedly no signs of forced entry, and responding deputies were unable to immediately contact the business owner.
9:59 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of a possible overdose in the 6000 block of County Road 23.6. A woman was transported to Southwest Memorial Hospital after she said she had taken a large amount of ibuprofen and was unable to sit up.
Wednesday, Nov. 22
1:15 a.m.: A man was cited on suspicion of criminal mischief at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., after detention staff claimed he had destroyed a fire sprinkler in a cell where he was being held under suicide watch, and had smeared his excrement on the cell door window.
