Crash injures one in Cortez neighborhood

A two-car crash sent one person to the hospital Sunday just before 3 p.m. The black Kia was northbound on Madison Street when the westbound white Subaru (background) failed to yield at the stop sign on Second Street. The driver of the Kia was transported to Southwest Memorial Hospital, and the driver of the Subaru was ticketed for failing to yield, according to a Cortez Police Officer on the scene.
