Cortez Rec. coed flag football
The City of Cortez now registering for coed flag football. Teams will consist of a minimum of six players; three men and three women. Each team will receive a six-game season and a single elimination tournament. Cost to play is $175. The season begins Thursday, Sept. 13. Registration deadline is Thursday, Sept. 6. The season begins Monday, Sept. 10, for women and Tuesday, Sept. 11, for men. Each team will receive eight games and a double elimination tournament. Cost to play is $175 per team. Knocker Softball Rendezvous
Knocker Athletic Club is hosting the Knocker Softball Rendezvous at Hartman Sports Park in Aztec, N.M., on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 14-15. Its coed and mens brackets. Balls and bats provided, but people can swing their own bats. Its a three-game guarantee. Tourney entry fee is $175. Awards are based on number of teams. Champions win 14 Champion Dri-Fit shirts.
