The county road crew, under the direction of Henry Honaker, started work this week on an extensive piece of road improvement down the Dolores River below McPhee. The road will be six miles in length and will extend from McPhee to the mouth of Beaver Creek. It will be done primarily to facilitate the hauling of logs from the timber country north of McPhee and will be of tremendous benefit to the farmers and stockmen operating in that section.
