After signing Deonta Vaughn (185-PG-86, college: Cincinnati) and Chad Prewitt (206-F/C-80, agency: Priority Sports, college: Arizona State), MIA Academy Tbilisi (Georgia) further strengthened its basketball frontcourt.

MIA Academy, of the Georgia-Superleague, welcomed the addition of center Kirk Archibeque (205-C-84, college: Fort Lewis) for the coming season.

Each player spent the last two seasons in Poland. Last season, Archibeque averaged 16.7 points, 10.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. The Montezuma-Cortez graduate shot 54 percent from the field and 80 percent at the free-throw line in 11 games for LKS Sphinx Petrolinvest Lodz. Archibeque then moved to Zastal Zeilona Gora and finished the season averaging 10.9 ppg, 8.0 rpg and 57 percent from the field in 33 games. In the 2010-11 season while playing for SKS Polpharma-Pakmet Starogard Gd, Archibeque was teammates with Vaughn.
