The Mill Levy Committee will be hosting a “Door to Door” campaign on Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Mancos Visitor Center at 9 a.m. We are inviting all supporters who would like to volunteer approximately two hours of their time for this crucial part of the campaign. Refreshments will be provided.

Once there, we will briefly discuss what a 20-30 second, door-to-door interaction might look like. We will also provide a brief sample sheet of pertinent information that you may want to use, Mill Levy brochures to hand out and leave with folks, and a walking list with names and addresses. We’re hoping for enough volunteers so that we can break into groups of two or more. (In addition to in-town campaigning, we will also be visiting neighborhoods on various county roads, so please plan to bring your vehicle.)

If you are interested in volunteering for two hours on Saturday morning, Oct. 6, please call Jen Paschal (533-9787) so that she can best prepare for this part of the campaign.

If you would like to help out, but Oct. 6 just doesn’t work for you, we can use you when your schedule allows, as long as it is prior to Oct 15, the date in which the county will be mailing out the mail-in ballots.

We are also looking for people who have great locations and are willing to let us put up yard signs on their property.

If you can help in any way, please call Jen Paschal at 533-9787.
