The Crow Canyon Connection at the Colorado Welcome Center hosted a grand opening for its space at 928 E. Main St. in Cortez on Friday. The Crow Canyon Archaeological Center is now providing a space at the center for books, Native American jewelry and exhibits and for educational events and meetings. Staff will be on hand to answer questions about Crow Canyon and offer visitors the chance to sign up for travel programming. It will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Memorial Day through Labor Day, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. the rest of the year. “We are excited to share with folks,” said Debra Miller, director of Crow Canyon Campus Services.
