Harold Cuthair and Juanita Plentyhose were re-elected to the Ute Mountain Ute Tribal Council on Friday, defeating six other candidates.
Cuthair garnered the most votes with 128, followed by Plentyhose at 103.
The other candidates and their totals are:
Regina Lopez Whiteskunk, 93; Selwyn Whiteskunk, 91; Marissa Box, 86; Conrad Jacket, 86, Boyd Lopez, 86; and Leland Collins, 43.
Four seats will be up for election next year, including chairman, two council seats and the White Mesa representative.
