We support the Montezuma-Cortez School District 3B bond to build a new high school in Cortez, and we encourage others to vote with us to approve the bond.Students will have a safe and healthy school with improvements that will accommodate advanced technology needs, allow classroom options for a variety of teaching and learning styles, and consolidate academics, arts and athletics to one campus.The new school will give students opportunities and benefits that reach beyond their high school years.
It is economically sound to approve the 3B bond now when we have the rare benefit of the $22 million BEST grant to fund approximately half of the project.
We encourage you to vote yes on the MCHS 3B bond.
