The Dolores FFA had its annual Creed Speaking contest in the Dolores Ag shop on Nov. 29. It was the first official public meeting for the new officers, and all Ag-1 members were required to memorize the official FFA creed by E.M. Tiffany to reflect their "belief in agriculture and agricultural education". They must also recite it in front of a panel of judges and answer questions relating to agricultural life. The first place, gold winner with overall best recital and question answering was, Cayce Lockhart and with second place winner for gold, Breezy Milligan. The rest of the gold winners are as follows: Kelly Charles, Erin Ryan, and Thomas Nelligan. The silver category includes: Kitty Wallace, Ryley Mattausch, Katie Williams, Shavargus Noyes, Kysterin McNutt. And lastly the bronze category includes: Dustin Rosenbaugh, Amber Chee, Michael Sawyer, Bailey Hamilton, Festus Willis, Garrett Leavell, Rachelle Tulio. Also on that night the officers awarded some of the Ag-2 members, who qualified for the Chapter FFA Degree, which includes: James Hackett, Wyatt Jones, Cammie Maxwell, Megan Murfield, Mary Nelligan, Nicole Pearson, Abigail Truelson, and Kelly Charles.
