On Feb. 6 in Durango, the Center of Southwest Studies will host a Southwest rug and textile identification session with textile expert and Toadlena Trading Post owner Mark Winter on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 2 to 5 p.m.
To reserve an evaluation time slot, call the Center's main office 970-247-7456. Participants are welcome to bring up to three Native American rug/ textile pieces for identification and evaluation by Mr. Winter, at a suggested donation to the Center of $10 per textile.
The public is welcome to observe the roadshow at no cost. A reception with Mr. Winter will immediately follow at 5: p.m.
