This 9-week-old, female puppy is a shepherd mix, possibly Great Pyrenees. She is very sweet and loving, and has a lot of energy and spunk. She needs a family to keep her busy and teach her tricks; she is going to be a large dog. She is available for adoption at the Cortez Animal Shelter, located at 2791 E. Main St. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and open every other Friday. This week, the shelter needs adult dry cat food, nonscoopable cat litter, bleach, Pine Sol, adult dry dog food (Purina or Pedigree) and dog biscuits.
