Kate Wall’s ‘leap of faith’ at Zuma Natural Foods

Zuma owner Kate Wall reflects on Mancos, natural foods and community
Kate Wall reflects on her past year as owner of Zuma Natural Foods during a presentation on Feb. 7, as part of the Mancos Public Library’s “Businesses in Our Backyard” series.
Wall came to Mancos in summer 2017 with no intent of staying nor returning to work in retail natural foods. But she ended up buying Zuma from former owner Dustin Partridge in November that same year.
Much of the natural foods store has stayed the same under Wall’s ownership, although there have been some menu additions.
A group sets up shop in Zuma’s cafe on a Sunday for a lunchtime training session.
