Lies? Sheep listen to Rush Limbaugh, Bill O’Reilly, Fox News, Bill Maher, Randi Rhodes and automatically believe what we hear.
Sunday, Oct. 30, 1938, millions of radio listeners were shocked when radio news alerts announced the arrival of Martians. They panicked when they learned of the Martians’ ferocious and seemingly unstoppable attack on Earth. Many ran out of their homes screaming while others packed up their cars and fled. Though what the radio listeners heard was a portion of Orson Welles’ adaptation of the well-known book, “War of the Worlds” by H. G. Wells, many of the listeners believed what they heard on the radio was real. People panicked and there was a lot of chaos, similar to what happens when people listen to Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Reilly or Bill Maher, Randi Rhodes.
It’s humorous that some who profess Obamacare as a disaster are the same ones who supported it when it was first introduced by Mr. Romney and his team of consultants when it was passed for Massachusetts. It now is in place for the entire country and it is all wrong and it will ruin our country, or so say Bill, Rush and Fox News. Personal opinions and beliefs are in the stories they are reporting and it shows. Originally, a reporter was supposed to leave their opinion out of it and just report the facts, but somewhere along the way that was lost. Listen to what is being said, then read it check and check the facts. Base your opinion on facts.
I’m not saying that the current health care plan is the answer, but, how many of you, your family or friends don’t have health care coverage? Read the part about what the health care bill means to people without coverage or what it means to people who have been denied coverage due to a preexisting condition. Then decide for yourself what is right and wrong. Don’t be sheep, be informed citizens.
