Empire Electric customers should have received a ballot in the mail to vote on who will represent District 1 and District 2 on the board of directors for Empire Electric. Most people throughout the districts don’t bother to vote (only about 1,800 actually vote), so if everyone that reads this article actually votes, you have a high chance of being represented by someone you know and trust, Brett Peterson. He is running to be the representative for District 1. Brett has spent most of his life in Eastland, Utah, (just over the state border) and currently co-manages Hondaland in Monticello, Utah. He is a calm, detail-oriented person and values doing things to the best of his abilities, and I know he will do a very good job. He would appreciate your vote.
