The 2013 Summer Reading Program is up and running.
Children may register for the Dolores Public Library summer reading program, "Dig into Reading," by going to the library's website, doloreslibrary.org, and clicking on Youth Programming. Follow the directions there. Participants may also sign up at the library.
The incentive program began June 3 and continue through Aug. 2. Participants will keep reading logs to record all books read during the summer. They may do this online or by using the school's reading log.
Every two weeks, children should come to the library with their reading logs or have the librarians check the website, and add their names to the jar for cool prizes.
Participation programs will begin June 25 from 1 to 3 p.m. for children in first through fifth grades, and June 26 at 10 a.m. for preschoolers.
