Nonprofits relaunch summer lunch program

Free summer lunches are served to children under 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays at the Education Literacy Health and Inspiration Community Center at 115 Ute Drive. Meals will be served until Aug. 8.
Durango School District 9-R does not have a summer lunch program. But a food pantry is open to families from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the School-Based Health Center at Durango High School.
