We’re sure all the contestants trying to catch the pig at the Dove Creek Pick ’n Hoe celebration had a good time, all but the pig. Pigs are intelligent animals and terrorizing them for fun is nothing more than animal abuse.
For Pets Sake Humane Society encourages the folks who put this well-intentioned event together to put their heads together to find a way to entertain the participants without abusing animals. Animals deserve more respect than this.
