Mountain goat eradication is a high-flying balancing act

In an effort to protect visitors and rare plants, park is relocating hoofed invaders

A large billy and a nanny are arrive to Hurricane Ridge blindfolded and hobbled from a helicopter at Olympic National Park on July 9. The goats’ health and vitals will be checked before they are crated for transportation.
