The Children’s Kiva Montessori School is currently seeking members to join its board of directors.
Primary responsibilities of the board are to set policies and provide fiscal oversight of the Children’s Kiva as a 501-C3 non-profit organization, and to supervise the executive director. Current projects include partnering with efforts to establish a Montessori elementary charter school in Cortez and engaging in efforts to support the Kiva’s tuition assistance and scholarship programs.
The school is especially seeking individuals who have experience in financial planning, fundraising, school administration and legal professions.
