There will be a drought workshop on Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. sponsored by the Montezuma County Office of Emergency Management and the CSU Extension Office.
It will be at the Montezuma County Annex, 107 North Chestnut St. It’s free and includes lunch.
The focus will be on what funding and other resources are available to the community do deal with droughts before, during and after they occur. A discussion from weather experts on the regional climate.
